Hi need referral for few job postings at MS.
Hiring freezed in VMware ?
I had a recruiter reach out to me from Google 3 years ago about a role she thought I would be good for. She really advocated for me to be in the role but the hiring managers didn’t feel like I was qualified.
We had a discussion and she gave me a lot of good feedback on how I could be a stronger candidate and encouraged me to reach out to her directly for future opportunities. Fast forward to now, I’ve gained a lot of experience and skills. Should I reach out even though it’s been 3 years?

Spend 20-30 minutes prepping. Practice answering a few basics: 1. Walk me through your resume. 2. Why are you exploring other opportunities? 3. What makes a good product? Bad?
The interview will be good practice.
Definitely give it. You would be surprised that a lot of time, this is how the journey of a great offer starts. I have seen so many ‘so well planned’ interviews falling short but situations like these where you do much better.
Definitely, go for it

^^Couldn’t agree more!
I feel this. I’m very tired of job searching. You need to push yourself to do stuff each week but can also give yourself breaks. You need to find a job eventually so keep chipping away.
Did the interview with no prep 😂 awk interview overall and probably sounded unprepared, but proud that I still showed up
Hope you get the role mate!
I’m not dismissing your burnout, but the worse you can do for yourself is sticking to what’s comfortable/play victim. Don’t forget you’re in control of your energy and life, so break the habit and put yourself out there. Have fun, don’t stress yourself it. Worst case you don’t do well, and you’re still in a better scenario than declining (as it’s a gained experience).
Yes I’m been reflecting on this and I’m definitely overworked in this project and haven’t taken a break this year. I feel guilty of taking a break and postponing my vacation till end of project but project keeps getting extended. I’ve noticed I’m having a hard time disconnecting from work and de-stressing.
Decided to take a month break to travel a bit, not think about work, and just work on myself only ie study, job hunt properly
