I’m 27 years old, kinda burned out, is having 100k saved up enough to take a sabbatical for 3 months and then focus on looking for a job?

Ideas for financing a full-scale renovation of an old house soon after buying? Current house was still ~$500k and I don’t have a ton of liquidity to spend immediately (~$100k). Architectural drawings alone are going to be $15k. Just feels like my cushion is going to go up in flames quickly once the process is started, but unsure the best way to finance. I do own 3 other homes so I know HELOCs are an option, but of course would need a plan to pay back principals. Any advice welcome!

I currently have two private industry job offers as a senior tax analyst. One is for a publicly-traded company which I will mostly be working on compliance work and occasionally help with provisions. The returns are also prepared in-house. The other is not publicly traded but ill be working on all aspects of tax such as compliance, provision, and indirect taxes. But the returns are prepared by an accounting firm, I just work on the work papers. Which job do you think will require more OT?
