What is a salary to live comfortably? Like no roommates, nice little living room in a popular/safe neighborhood? I make 110k and most recent apartments are minimum 1700 for 1bd. Sounds a little steep for Philly.

I’ve always avoided annuities but think this one from NY Life is interesting. It’s called a Variable Investment Fund and you can add an Investment Preservation Rider for a fee. The IPR guarantees your investment return will at least be the cash you put in.

So you are attenuating some upside and paying a pretty hefty fee, but you are insuring agains the downside.

Question regarding class action lawsuits currently underway for RIVN, LCID, RBLX, BMBL - what is the action to take if you are an investor with losses that do not exceed a couple of thousand dollars? Considering buying a 3 week put to the UVXY ($55 strike) it spiked 50% this week in the past 5 years it only spiked higher than this twice; when shut down first hit (x10) and in 2018 (66%) then it went down within a week.

Y’all think this makes sense?
