Can anyone describe Amazon’s culture for an associate corporate counsel,based on team? I’ve read a number of comments on this app and across the internet about the company in general but the individuals never specify what team they’re referring to. I’ve heard from two corp counsel that AWS doesn’t have the best WLB but Prime Video does. I’d be interested to hear what this bowl has to add. Having to call Marriott to apply a suite night award to an SPG hotel on a reservation you made before the merger and combining accounts proves to you how much is still SO WRONG with this merger.

So my spg points and nights have still not merged with my Marriott account. Anyone else having this issue?

This merger blows. SPG had a legit no blackout policy but Marriott says they do no blackout but they have inventory control which is essentially the same shit. Such deceptive tactic. 😡😡

My company’s SOP template has a table of contents and a section at the top where the SOP owner is supposed to add a short statement containing the “Why” of the SOP, meaning a statement about what the SOP is supposed to solve for/ accomplish. A co-worker recently told me that it should also contain a checklist of the 4-5 main points of what the team member should know how to do after reading the SOP…. This seems really redundant to me. Thoughts?

Current apartment 2780/month: not moving = no brokers fee, brand new sparkly kitchen with new appliances, two parking spots, spacious bonus room, forced air AC, baseboard heating that costs $400+/month in the winter bc of bad insulation, kind of gross bathrooms with some tiles hard to clean/falling out of the walls, lots of small fixer-upper items like replacing curtain rods where the nails seem to be coming out from their holes, etc.
