Looking for information on American Express. Got back to back to back interviews in a week, all the same day. Never had that happen like that, are they trying to fill a position quickly maybe? Additionally, what is avg pay for Sr. Manager?

Is there a cooling period with Amazon for applying after you got through power days. The feedback I got was that they went with a candidate that is a better fit for the position which doesn’t sound negative on my part.

I recently had an interview with cognizant..HR DIScussed salary and role and told me that I will expect the offer letter in 2-3 days. But it's been 18 days, i did not hear anything from their end..Hr is not picking up my calls . 7 days ago she replied on my email that I will get my offer letter soon..after that no response.
Will they consider me? Is it sure I will get my offer letter?

Hey everyone, I have 6 years experience as a BI in Amazon where I was promoted upto Business Intelligence Lead for which I worked for 6 Months and later moved as a Support Engineer to a Data Engineering team. I am currently doing my masters in USA and in my second semester. I want to interview and work as a Data Engineer. I think i will probably start applying for interviews by spring this year. If salary is not on here or Glassdoor or Salary, what’s a good way to gauge an estimate of the worth so I don’t waste my time? Getting back on the job hunt. I have a hard time knowing how much certain jobs are worth from descriptions and if I’m in the right ballpark for salary. I’ve turned down a couple interview requests bc I would tell them my range. I’ve also spent time on several jobs where the description didn’t match the value. They ended up being 20% less than others in the industry.

Need some advice—I’m 26wks pregnant and interviewing for new job Monday. They know I’m pregnant already. If they offer me the job, I’ll probably work for 9wks before needing to go out for the baby. How should I negotiate maternity leave? I won’t be eligible for FMLA, but I’ll do the state leave after birth for 8wks. Should I ask them to grant me a few weeks of paid leave as a PTO advance? Can’t decide on a job offer. Currently employed and have been wanting to do something different. The other job offer is pretty much what I make now but I’d be losing on a lot of PTO. I know this happens a lot but I still get mildly annoyed when a senior tries to make revisions to your work that don’t actually make sense and the partner eventually just reverts to your original language/wording. I’m a senior myself and I remind myself constantly not to mark something up for the sake of marking something up.
