I may be in the minority but fuck having roommates, b school is social enough and I need my own space to recharge…

This is exactly how I feel… as a very extroverted person I still was like f that I need my own space to go back to and recharge…
Sterling — you can meet ppl who live in 2116 and you’ll be invited to things anyway

Didn't go to Wharton, but I'd say that fun roommates > fun buildings for meeting people in MBA. Go with the social roommates--they are multipliers for friendships, even if you all have to trek a bit to meet others.
Especially in a program that big, it's great to have roommates who can help increase the number of people you meet!

Sterling isn’t nice enough for the price. I’d say 2116.
-18th & chestnut
Thanks, not concerned about price. Want to maximize my social experience, so Sterling is a less popular Wharton building but with two funs girls whereas 2116 Chestnut is the most popular Wharton building but would be with a more low key roommate. Thoughts?
Coach
If you want to maximize social experience just room with the more outgoing roommates
Sterling is ok. I would say do that if you want to have more fun, just based on your potential roommates situations.
But isn’t 2116 Chestnut also fun as a building? Like I’m thinking about the first month or so where you meet people mostly through your building, no?
It’s definitely a nicer building. I’m not in MBA so idk how making friends works there, but in all my adult life I have not made friends with my neighbors. I would expect to make friends in school through school activities lol.
Hey, I’m a Wharton admit but hasn’t started to search for roommates yet. How have you found yours??? Any tips would be super appreciated
There’s a spreadsheet for people looking for roommates! The link is posted in the slack and on workplace
Both are perfectly fun locations. Index more on the vibe that you want in your apartment. Would you rather have a fun place that hosts events or be able to retreat into your own place? Either way, you're no more than a several block walk from social events. No right answer, just pick whatever is more meaningful for you.

Super fun girls but how do you know you’ll enjoy living with them? Usually the loudest ppl are the dirtiest…
