I've been interviewing with some companies, and now I have to decide between JPMorgan Chase and Globant.
Globant is more innovative, and has remote work. I will enter to work with a Sillicon Valley startup based in San Francisco. The tech stack is React, Nextjs, AWS, and a serverless architecture.
JPM is semi remote, and less innovative. The tech stack Java, SpringBoot and AWS. But I'd do more migration tasks, like dockerize projects and pass them to kubernetes. What would you choose?

It was probably said in confidence. We shouldn’t trust you going forward. I’ll tell the next person on the project not to trust you too, hopefully they don’t tell you I said that
Tell the SM what? That the manager doesn’t trust them? Helllll nawwww
Just do your job. Deliver to client. Don’t spread rumors
Stay cool and rise above. Avoiding getting pulled into project politics at all cost
Why would you snitch/gossip to the SM? Nothing good could come from that.
Take the caution for what it is, and keep your hands clean.
OP Why the M doesn’t want you to trust the SM? Were you on the PMO team? I feel your story needs more context before someone else can weigh in.
SM rolled off the PMO? If M and others convey something sketchy about SM I would start documenting all interactions with the SM. Especially if SM is the type to be careful of email or IM content but says shady things.
