This was very common Pre-pandemic. Less so now, and definitely not on any model deemed “desirable”

Unfortunately I don’t have a choice at buying a new car. My car was totaled. Lucky for me it’s last two days of the month so my purchase matters 😆 below msrp for me 😁

New strategy intern? What happened to the old one?

Hit and run

Believe it or not, until quite recently, it was the norm for dealers to sell below MSRP unless you’re a sucker or for select special cars.

like

LMAO, that was the norm forever!!!

like

Yes that is why it is the manufacturer suggested retail price. It is not a minimum or required retail price. Dealer pays less than that so they can sell for less than that.

like

Yes and the tactic was “we’ll sell you a car at invoice” which was still them making money on the car as that invoice price didn’t include kickbacks from the manufacturer, dealer holdback and sales incentives.

Thank god I paid cash so not much money made on financing for me

My car was also totalled yesterday and I'm wading into these waters. I'm quickly learning I am going to spend a lot of money for not the car that I want

Thank you. That's helpful

Hi ladies. I’m 11 weeks pregnant and have been suffering from morning sickness all day every day for the last 5 weeks. It’s been extremely difficult staying on top of everything at work (I’m in a very busy practice group at Kirkland) and am wondering if anyone has gone through this and if anything helped. I’ve tried all of the conventional methods (eating small meals, vitamin B6, ginger etc) but nothing has worked 🥺.

I’m a boomerang employee and a friend of mine noticed that my company posted a similar job description to mine on indeed 10 days ago. My boss didn’t tell me they were hiring another person in our department (small department - 4 people). Should I be worried? Should I bring it up to my boss? I’m really stressing myself out over it. For reference I would consider myself a top performing employee / everyone was very excited when I boomeranged. Not sure if I’m overthinking (I do that a lot).

Lately I’ve been looking into buying a house. I’m 22 and would only be able to afford a 40k down payment. I found a house near my parents that is 400k.. is it four bedrooms and I would be able to have renters in 3 of the rooms (which I would estimate would cover 2,000 of the 2,400 monthly payment). This being said - my knowledge is limited. I would appreciate any advice and perspective on this! ❤️

Transferred some stock in kind from one brokerage to another but noticed that each transferred stock appears to be bought at the current price on the day of the transfer (eg. if avg price of my TSLA stock was $500 before transferring now it’s showing $620). Now I’m freaking out because it seems like as a result I’ve erased all my historical gains on the stocks that I had bought at a much lower price years ago? Am I missing something or did I just lose all my unrealized gains by transferring?
