For what it’s worth, when I was at Big 4, one hospital client made me show proof of negative TB or cured TB before they would allow me onsite.
It is not reasonable if it is not fully tested. The FDA approved does not equal to safe for mass usage.
I don’t know if they legally can but I’m sure they could swing it. Client: “Hey ACN, we expect you to only send vaccinated consultants to us. If you have a problem with that we’ll find a firm that will only send vaccinated consultants”
They can require you to take a drug test, so this isn’t that different
Private property and external folk so yep
Yea. They’re right to do so. Don’t be a Karen and start yelling “it’s my right”
I’m not typically anti-vax, but I will not be the first in line for this vaccine that has been rushed through trials. Just saying 🤷🏼♀️
Agree. Also I will wait until others who need it first can get it - a consultant working from home (12 hrs a day...!) probably is less exposed than front line and essential workers.
Not sure why this is even a question. As responsible people we should be vaccinated first as we go multiple places and interact w many clients, airport staff, Starbucks, Uber drivers ... list goes on. At least for your own safety you should if u travel ..
Of course. They can make any demands they want as a private organization.
That’s obviously not true.
They can and some likely will. We have clauses built into sows all the time. Most often we’re able to negotiate it away but for covid I think some will stick.
Absolutely. Their duty is to protect their workforce.
No different than a client in Aerospace requiring myself and the other tram to pass an 11 panel drug screen and their background check before being allowed onsite or even onto the project.
Of course !
Yes. They make people get vaccinated for things before starting programs
Yes
Zero problems doing that - we should expect it
There is absolutely no reason they cannot. If I have to have a vaccination record to attend a private university, then I can be expected to provide one to a private company.
I hope so, then I dont have to go to client lol
Yes
