Can any ‘conservative’ explain to me how CNN, a channel owned by AT&T, can be leftist?

Well you see, apparently real-life has a liberal bias and reporting it as such is an attack against conservatives.

CNN does clearly have political bias. I think it’s disingenuous to not acknowledge that. the news only portion of CNN is I’d say slightly better than Fox in that it will report major headlines that may characterize democrats poorly while Fox always seems to find alternative top stories. Similarly CNN opinion shows are clearly liberal (but not nearly the level of conspiratorial garbage that Fox pumps out). CNN, like any other business is driven by money and ratings. Their programming is targeted at left wing people in cities and carries all the bias that necessarily comes with that.

They also don’t spend significant time saying “we’re better than other outlets.” Fox spends a bunch of time being outraged that CNN or NYT failed to cover unsubstantiated topic, or even that they’re not above the fold.

It’s an acquisition that had already built an audience. AT&T has little to do with it.

Apparently you missed the program director on cnn openly bragging about how they purposefully planned coverage to get Trump out of the White House so he could get laid on tinder dates.

I am surprised those working on the PE buyout on here have kept their NDAs intact. It’s getting sold, we just don’t know to which group of PE$$$ and at what valuation. Well known, it has been shopped many months ago.

The fact that it is owned by AT&T is not as important as the way it reports news

Just spoke to someone who landed an interview at their dream company. They didn’t get it through applying. Here’s what they did instead: 1. They studied the job post. 2. They identified that the reason for the hire was to generate more company revenue. 3. They connected the company to a few potential customers by doing a quick looking through their network and messaging warm contacts. Unsurprised they got an interview out of it. Whats the best way you’ve seen someone land an interview?
