Anyone have any insight on Parallel Consulting?
Worth posting: 🍿
I currently make $90k with a great wlb, support systems, and colleagues. Im also set to get promoted this January which will bring me to $108,000 (no bonuses). I got an offer from Slalom Consulting for $115,000 + 8% bonus and I don't know if I should take it. Any thoughts? Happy to provide more details in the comments

They used to be organized by 3 groups - S&O, tech, human capital. They reorganized into 6 'offering portfolios' such as Strategy and Analytics or Enterprise Operations - I don't remember the 6 but I should've provided enough info here for you to Google around and find a WallStreetOasis post or something that lists them. Strategy and Analytics is probably the closest thing to what most people thought of when thinking of S&O.
S&O still exists as a competency area i.e. you won’t be focusing on tech implementations or human capital work if you’re aligned to it. The reorg was simply a change in how the firm goes to market
The portfolios are:
- M&A, Customer & Marketing, Strategy & Analytics, Enterprise Ops, Core Business Ops, and Human Capital
To answer your question: you will want to go into the Strat side of S&A or Customer Strat & Applied Design in C&M for more strat work
You’ll find S&O people scattered throughout the portfolios. If it helps, most of Monitor went to M&A, Customer and Marketing, and Strategy & Analytics
