Hi why IBM is focussing on Return to office culture ,as in past years before covid it was known for remote and WFH flexibility.When there is no team ,still single resource is being called at office .What is the use to work from office if you don't have anyone from project ,team building,networking ,anyway it won't develop.

I received a message from a headhunter on a potential opportunity, but unsure of how prominent the M&A practice is, the typical project size and team, WL balance, culture, etc. I am aware of Alvarez & Marsal being among the maker leaders in restructuring but would love to hear more from someone with more insight.

We spent 4-5 years at college studied for exams, became sought after professionals just to spend 8-10 hours in your room every day like a prisoner. Does commuting suck for some ? Sure. But to think that I for the next 40 years I am going to be home all day every day without interaction happy hours office jokes office culture. It’s crazy. My year end review process will start semi soon (in a month or so). I joined this company this Jan a little before all the great resignation crazy salary stuff started. I really like it so far in terms of the team/culture/work we do etc. Has anyone finagled the year end review process recently to get a great raise without having to jump ship? Tbh I'd prob stay even w a normal raise as my needs and most of my wants are met rn, but I'm just curious, putting more in savings never hurt anyone.
