So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. They suggested that we put SPHR ( Lapsed). I let it lapse in 2017. What is your opinion? Plus if I were to take another certification - should I take SPHR or SHRM-SCP?

I was a month in as Workday HCM Consultant with Accenture. They immediately throw me into the HCM courses to obtain my WD HCM certification. There are three parts HCM Essentials, HCM Applied, and HCM Practical. The passing score is 70 or above. I scored a 62 on the Essentials portion, I passed Applied, and at the end of this week Practical. During class, I received an “immediate connect” Team call and I was fired because of my low score. I'm devastated, and shocked. Yesterday was my birthday.

How much are people willing to pay for a résumé review? I had an expensive résumé review done which I completely threw out the window. It was so poorly done and somehow they converted my 1 page resume to 2 pages?! Anyway I’ve worked on several resumes since then and feel like I’ve nailed it. Got myself 100s of interviews and also got my clients many interviews, even with FAANG. College grads ask me for reviews all the time and now I want to charge for it. $20? $50? What’s a good rate?

My first statement; “Too many analyst want to be either Jack Ryan, 007, or the Matrix Res.’s “Analyst””. I morally disliked the last Matrix but, still prefer the third objection most.

What are you supposed to glean from rejections that state, the team has decided to move forward with another candidate that more closely aligns with the needs ? Where didn't I align is what I'd prefer to hear so I can improve in my next interview. No employer provides feedback benefitting the candidate even when asked for. So why ever consider this employer again? Is there some legal issue with providing feedback?
