Can anyone at Pwc AC bangalore office confirm if they are reopening anytime soon or already working in hybrid mode? I have an offer from HR who insists that office isn't gonna open anytime soon but not ready to give anything in writing. Given that HR has miscommunicated multiple things (verbally), it is difficult to take them up on their word. I wanted to understand how long before they start calling people back to office.

What are you using for your remote classes? I'm having trouble with Zooom, and need another platform for my kids.

Has anyone had luck negotiating a fully remote position for a firm that's hybrid? Firm is the next city over and would be a 2 hour+ commute round trip and I really don't want to do that more than a couple times a month.

This group really makes me appreciate my situation. I am fully remote at a remote first employer who does not care where where I work as long as it doesn't affect my residency and pay in the territory I was hired. (ie working in Costa Rica and Mexico 6 months but need to be back in Canada ever so often to maintain citizenship status)

Thinking about exiting to tech as a 2 year tenured associate from a consulting firm. What roles/titles might be appropriate? I.e. business oriented roles for those with little experience (for example - “associate product manager”).

After every busy season, I think about leaving public accounting and/or the firm. I have 5+ years in tax. Anyone switch to audit/consulting from tax? Two busy seasons a year, with barely anytime to chill in between is exhausting. Anyone in private looking to hire someone with a background in federal tax?
