Don’t know but I could show you one money manager that uses combinations of mutual funds for their portfolios and they have consistently outperformed their respective indexes including the S&P 500 since 1999 and done so with less volatility

smart

It’s possible but only with really low expenses. American Funds has actually done it for years. Some smart beta funds should be able to do it simply because indexes have such flaws but has to be as close to the same expense ratio as the index funds. True individual stock pickers are out there and do add value, just take a look at the SMAs out there

I’m a RN with 12y of experience and I’m seriously contemplating getting my real estate licensing. I believe I can be successful at it but I’m scared to try it. After all the work and time put into nursing, it feels wasteful to just pack and leave the profession. Yet, I feel that I’m wasting precious time going back and forth in my mind about what I should do next. Any advice? I have zero experience in real estate but I’m willing to learn and grow. Anyone willing to be a mentor? Thank you!

Hello everyone, currently I’m an analyst in a boutique life science strategy firm in Boston and wanting to break into IB. I’ve taken my own time to practice - and out of my own pocket - financial modeling courses over the last year to hone in my financial/excel skills. I’ve been considering a MBA, but given the current COVID situation and not wanting to stop work for 2 years, would a part-time MBA be of any benefit to break into IB? Happy to discuss in DM. Thanks in advance!
