Got an offer from FAANG in finance / accounting. How do you compare the offer if you are currently in a company where total comp is just base + bonus? I know a lot of tech companies value TC that includes RSUs but not sure how to compare. Base and bonus for current and new company is about the the same so to me the difference is in the RSUs and upside at FAANG. Thoughts?Facebook (Meta) Netflix Apple Amazon Google

Definitely interesting. Looking at the recent several negative reviews some they were mostly former employees and 2 - 3 feel more like some disgruntled people who were "taking it out" on the company's reviews.
That being said, based on multiple perspectives in this bowl and several employees there that I know, I do agree that the firm is known for having a tough WLB, but a positive interpersonal culture (strong bonds) and favorable promotion opportunities.

As far as I'm aware, beach/bench time for A to SC is typically one day (if even) between projects. EM+ have no beach/bench time.
When newer (e.g., first year of tenure), employees may uncommonly experience greater unstaffed time randomly (e.g., up to 2 weeks at times) but there is no clear pattern or predictability around this however.
While on beach/bench times, staff typically contribute to proposal support for leadership, supports other teams needing additional ad-hoc help, works on non-project company work (e.g., develop training decks), complete post-project logistics things (e.g., expenses reports, performance reviews), and in fortunate cases relax similar to PTO.
They were recently acquired by a PE firm and have been growing substantially which might have a hand in the ratings swings. Have heard comp is high, opportunities are plenty, trajectory is fast but quality of experience is declining
I’ve heard bad things about them. They pay well though, which gets people in the door.

As far as I am aware, the EM total comp (base + bonus) at ClearView as of recent is actually $200 K.
