I moved from Google SF to Google Singapore, and our office is roughly 2/3 non-Singaporean, 1/3 Singaporean.
T2 here. Yes they take internationals at entry level but no relocation perks to my knowledge. For my cohort, it’s like 40%/60% for the international/local split. Referring to nationality and not international/local university split as some locals come from overseas universities.
Not sure about quota but googling shows this: https://www.guidemesingapore.com/business-guides/managing-business/hr-management/guide-to-hiring-employees-in-singapore#General-recruitment-guidelines
Can you give a bit info on how do you apply to Singapore from UK? Like you apply and interview for graduate program of that firm in UK but set your preferred location to be Singapore? I thought you would interview with the office you would work in. Do you have to liaise anything with the Singapore team before applying?

My friend works at fb and he said his bizops team is mostly foreigner. Sounds like it depends on what company? Fb probably had a special agreement though because it employs so many people in singapore.
My friend tried applying to Bain but was flat out told they aren’t hiring foreigners. She’s American with 4 years exp in S& USA.
I don’t know specifics for Singapore or this case, but often with Bain it would also depend on the seniority they were coming in at... coming after 4y at S& would take you in at the same level as a undergrad (maybe they would give you a year tenure equivalent but likely no more). Think if you they had been coming in more senior they could have been more likely to sponsor.

What are the typical working hours there? How is the pay?
As far as I'm concerned, the pay is 75% of US, but tax rate is much lower so net income might be roughly the same. Working hours in ASEAN has been known to be quite harsh though. It'll be great if anyone from SIN can confirm.
P/s: it will be great if someone can give a bit info of how is Singapore's MBB/T2 firms' ratio and whether they take internationals or not? (Entry-level)
