Any opening for Scrum Master
Hey everyone! I got selected as a Product Manager with Walmart Global Tech,Bangalore. During the interview, there were mentions that the role involves travelling(US) closer to the customers a bit. I would like to understand if that really holds true. Do Product Managers with Walmart Global Tech travel on a regular basis?Walmart

Very basic scrum master tasks, probably across 1 or 2 teams/porjects
I hear that WFH isn’t supported post COVID….
It’s so up in the air. RTO is unannounced for the foreseeable future, and I don’t see that changing. Also, if you join & are a good performer, there is absolutely the possibility to get full-time remote
It absolutely is a 9-5. Scrum masters (you’ll want to start calling them “agile delivery leads” if you end up here though they’re exactly the same as anywhere else) can sometimes add nothing of value to the teams besides bugging engineers to report their accomplishments or close out their tickets.
But if you want to actually contribute to tech teams you definitely have the opportunity to lean in with your tech lead and PM and make sure unknowns are solved, dependencies are owned, target dates are worked backwards from, etc etc.
Pay varies, a “Principal Associate” (maybe 5 working YOE) in McLean would probably make 120 base
It’s definitely a 9-5 especially if you aren’t gunning for a promotion. It’s a typical scrum master role. I would say the agile environment is pretty mature- people follow the ceremonies but a lot of that is bc we have great scrum masters who help get everyone on the same page :)
Great to hear. I was contacted by a recruiter so I am interested in the position but want to make sure it’s right for me.
How is the pay?
They offered me 91-105 pay range for senior associate scrum master. I turned down the interview because that’s what I make now at KPMG high end of that band
