One option - find 2-3 Agile Coaches at PwC on LinkedIn. Ideally those who are 6 months or less into their role. Connect with them and get their advice.

Any thoughts on asking a hiring manager to speak to one of his/her employees without the manager being present to get a good feel for the culture?

JPMorgan Chase folks, how long does it take after accepting the offer/contract to getting contacted by the premployment screening team ? I have been waiting for a week now but I was told it is triggered automatically after 24hrs to 48 business hours after the acceptance. I have called my recruiter and they said I should check my spam folder which had nothing. Any indications here ?

To me, the biggest drawback on long cases is clients or partners asking about an analysis you did 6, 9 or 12 months ago that today you have no idea what you did, but also you know it’s wrong. People frequently cite “getting bored” is the reason they like shorter projects, but I think the aforementioned reason is the main one for me (and for others). Anyone agree with me or do you truly just get bored?

10 open Leadership Supervisor positions.
Almost 30 applicants.

I said that "People come to me about process issues, and I worked with others to better that process for them and the team."
Interviewer feedback denying me the role was that because I did not say "People trust me and came to me about process issues. Which led me to collaborate with others that I have networked with in the past to find solutions." I did not get the job.

Any tips on assessing if the hiring manager will be a good manager and person to work with?

I’d be hoping to learn a lot from them, as they would be pretty much be all of my day-to-day interactions and team. I’ve received an offer but have asked for another convo as I’m still unsure on culture, WLB and training etc as it’s a new team so no other people in comparable roles to talk to.

Hi All. I recruiter contacted me about a job via LinkedIn that I'm not really interested in at this time, but I am interested in knowing what it pays because it's the same position that I have now and I would like to have a frame of reference for what other very large companies pay. She asked to schedule a time to speak about it but I responded via LinkedIn and asked her if she could share the salary range and broad strokes of the total comp package. Is that poor etiquette?

I've been working at a government agency for 6 months, helping to stand up a new team. The job involves interacting with real estate developers. One of the developers reached out to recruit me for a similar position that will pay more than $50k my current salary. I feel guilty, especially since I'd interact with my current team on the other side. It's a hard to turn down that salary, though I feel guilty since my team is thin, and it's only been 6 months!

Any tips on navigating this situation?

I interviewed for a role with the actual hiring manager more than two weeks ago. After that, the hiring manager gave great feedback, set up a group interview 2 days later. That went great as well and I received great feedback in response to my thank you emails. Since then it’s been crickets. I know part of this time included the 4th, so perhaps no big deal. But I sent a follow up to hiring manager yesterday and no response. Bad sign? Should I follow up with HR rep instead or just wait it out?

So I’m interviewing with a company. And the HM (hiring manager) said they’d give me a response in 2 weeks. It’s been 2 weeks so I emailed the HM to ask for an update. Their reply was “we are still in the process of interviewing candidates”.

Could this mean they’ve moved forward with a different candidate and are keeping me on in case it doesn’t work out? Or are they really still assessing candidates..?

I recently interviewed at Facebook (Meta) for enterprise engineer E4. Feedback from recruiter was very positive. Everyone on panel recommended me. Received an offer for 223 TC. My current salary is significantly higher (amzn L5/sde2). I am walking out but curious:
1. Is that a standard meta offer? I thought meta pays better than amzn and googl.
2. I have been asked by my recruiter to provide my current salary as data point to go back and negotiate. Isn't that illegal? Facebook (Meta)
