I don't have firsthand knowledge, but from what I understand, it's open to existing employees as well. Seems like an interesting program. I wish more companies did stuff like this.

I think it's open to existing employees!

It is open for existing employees too. They even prioritize their existing employees especially those with good performance record.

I’m mid 30s F. Recently started seeing this guy, where he is “good enough”. Good conversations, decent time together, he has a good heart, but nothing about him shines. - not fit (I work out everyday and play sports), meh social skills (he doesn’t have best friends, just few he hangs out with), bit less energy than me.
There is a feeling in me that says “he’s going to be a comfortable life partner” and “he is just good enough, but if I break up I won’t find someone for a long time”
Do I stay?

I’m an HR Mgr, and need help approaching my HRC about her demeanor at work. She lost her father last fall, and since returning to work, she’s become incredibly delicate. Often cries at work, staff are hesitant to approach her; it’s like walking on eggshells constantly with her. She does her job well, she takes directions well, but there is no real initiative with projects/tasks and I NEED a strong no.2 - I feel like I’m constantly coaching her and trying to support her, but I’m tired 😣

AITA? my manager came in today coughing up a lung and she sits at the desk right next to me. She says she doesn't think she has COVID but doesn't want to test because if it is positive then she has to quarantine. I asked her to wear a mask if she's in the office with me and she said no. I went to the director and basically said that either she goes home or I go home.

Hello everyone! I am looking for advice. I am a C&B Team lead ( about 15 years of experience) but all my experience was in Russia. Now I got married and moved to UK , plus we have got a baby in 2019 so now I am looking for a job in UK having 3 years of career break. Although, I am getting CIPD lvl 7 diploma this year. I am not ready for team leader's role now . So my question is about HR area, where could I find a job with my only Russian experience? HR generalist, C&B analyst, HR BP, recruiter?

Anyone experienced this? The Amazon recruiter let me know last week that I passed the bar and received an Inclined decision. However, the position I was interviewing for (HR partner AWS) is no longer available due to headcount. She's trying to find other suitable roles. But checking on their job site I don't see any similar roles in AWS. I'll appreciate any suggestions on what I should do or if you can share similar experience? It's very unsettling :(

Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. I was hoping to get some thoughts on this from others? Thanks

Best job to get to transition into HR?

Does anyone know where to start in HR please?

My goal role in 5 years let’s say is Chief People Officer / People & Culture Director, etc.

My background is 12+ years in customer/client experience, coaching, sales, and account management. I’m finishing a Lv7 executive coaching course and starting a CIPD Lv5 people management course.

Any ideas on what roles I can start with? Don’t care if it’s a simple role, getting in with a good company is important.
