How can people riot against what is essentially freedom of speech? I'm not a fan of Milo but just don't get these protests.

There should be no support for riots of any sorts in a developed country. Peaceful protests are a different topic altogether.

As a CAL alum I want to point out that the riot was by anarchists in the bay area who use the protest as an excuse to go violent. It pains me to see what starts as a peaceful protest go bad due to those folks.

I’ve seen my resume ‘in review’ for 6+ months or more. Do people only get interviewed for these roles through networking?

Had all my interviews, met the recruiter who shared the “great feedback from everyone” and even some potential numbers for the offer last Wednesday only to let me know today it came down to the “nitty gritty” and they weren’t moving forward with me. Pretty upset but figured it’s because they have more years exp or a Masters and I don’t. Any other thoughts? Recruiter really got my hopes up
