Can anyone offer remote transitioning advice?

I’ve recently started work at a very young tech startup. Coming from a big law background, this was a huge change of pace/environment. I’m having a lot of trouble getting used to how unstructured the startup is. It feels like hire ups give a set of instructions then talk as if they don’t remember, or then decided rules A, B, C and D applies without being clear this was the case. Is this just the general startup environment? If you experienced this before, how did you deal with It?

SALERY OF BIOMEDICAL TECHNICIAN

I was just offered an RN II position at Stanford Hospital’s B3 unit for $84/hour. Are there any RNs out there who can tell me what it’s like working on the unit and if it’s worth leaving my job for? I love my current job, my schedule and the people. I have no problems with it except that it’s 1.5 hours away from my family and it pays $25/hour less than Stanford.

Also, do you think it’s too late to ask if I can visit the unit before I make my decision? Thanks in advance.

I am a skilled nursing facility biller and collector for Medicare & Insurance, my job can absolutely be remote but the company I work for refuses to allow employees to work remotely. I’ve been with this company for 10 years and am looking elsewhere to find the same position but remote so I can move out of state.
