Looking for job referral in Scotiabank
I am a 602 Associate JPMorgan Chase . While accepting the offer letter I think I have undervalued myself. My coworkers with the same title have good compensation compared to me. Sharks @ JPMorgan, how much should a 602 associate with 8 years of experience should get. I have a great rapport with my manager so I can discuss this in the upcoming appraisal cycle.

I support both consulting and bst side. It’s a great role. Majority of the job right now is scheduling/calendaring. We’re very busy!
Happy to provide insight as well if needed!
I’ve supported an array of personalities here. Some are major divas and will make your life miserable, but I’d say that is not the majority. If you like being an EA I think you’d like it here. We obviously have great benefits, but if you’re looking to move out of the EA role soon after being hired you should look elsewhere. Internal movement is quite difficult. Pre COVID I worked 44 hours most weeks, currently I work 40 and occasionally will book OT if I’m backing up for someone on vacation. It is fast paced, you need to be in your inbox all the time. It’s hard to get “focused” work done sometimes. Been here 5 years, don’t plan on leaving.
Thank you, very insightful. It is what I’m looking for sans the divas. 🙂
Happy to answer questions as well! Been an EA for a specialized team for several years.
Depends on team. In my experience a typical Ea supporting consulting side partners has av of 2 sr managing partners. I’ve seen others support a higher mix of managing partners. Other EA’s are on specialized teams and have upwards of 10 stakeholders (though they aren’t managing directors). Keep in mind we do team backup coverage for mat leave/ loa/ sick/ vacation days too which isn’t factored into scope above. It really depends on what team you are on.
Yes, I love it here. Do you have any specific questions?
Still curious about the shifts in focus of your time since there is little T&E. What keeps you busy now?
