Hi Fishes, I immediately need to switch my role related to Data science/ML/AI with good hike. Suggest some companies and ways. I'm willing to learn new things after deployment.

I think the definition depends on your business and it’s structure.
Brand can basically be the brand you’re working on, viewed as a business in its own right when it’s part of a large multi-brand business. Doesn’t sound like your business.
Brand can be ‘brand communications’ ie awareness and consideration comms.
Brand can be in the design sense, defining distinctive assets, logos, use guidelines etc.
But as it sounds like is your case, underneath the definition of the brand, businesses can have a long tail of needs of things that need branding in some form, that cumulatively help the business project the brand they want to portray. Offices, merchandise, corporate presentations, customer phone calls, website, events…. the list goes on and it can be quite random.
Central brand teams might encompass all of these latter 3 things, but depending on your role will depend on what you’re most likely to be involved with. In your case, it sounds like mostly the latter. If that is the case, being clear on what your function’s role and your role within that will determine if you’re being taken advantage of. Given the slightly random nature, the more you lean into the randomness the better. Otherwise you’re simply a cog. It may also feel a bit unsung but I would be surprised if a fair number of the random needs are requirements and needs of senior management, or projects they’re attached to. Doing a bad job won’t reflect well on your bosses or the function. So you might view it as a slightly higher risk place to sit.
Brand is such a vague term. There are so many things that go into a "brand". brand awareness, brand recognition, brand aesthetics, brand messaging, etc. This is how they are able to give you so many tasks. Maybe you should ask what part of "Brand" do they want you to focus on?
To me it’s the corporate entity or master brand, vs the products they’re selling. And it’s the best kind of work imo!
Definitely read your job description and make sure whoever is assigning you to work, knows what your duties are. It is very common that after 1 year or so, people try to take advantage of your position and assign you random and tedious work.
In CPG brand owns the P&L which does include all the random but important shit no one has the patience or persistence to get done.
Including a ton of form filling, project management and admin work at the lower levels. It shouldn’t be that way in an internal agency if your team doesn’t own the P&L decisions.
