Can anyone please explain about the superannuation program at IC and how do we get that amount at the time of leaving the organisation? How much interest or return does it give?

Is now not the time to take a job offer? Husband got an offer at Toast but with the economy i don’t know. His current leadership is awful. he is indispensable for his team but leadership wouldn’t hesitate to let him go (if cuts happen).

I’m a late 40’s, 3rd year Partner in Big4 who joined as a DEMD after 2 decades in industry. I’m weighing an offer to join another Firm - it’s a straight comp play for 30% higher Comp for a similar role. I realize that the BS is mostly the same at all B4, so I don’t think for a second the grass is greener. But the comp is nice, and I’m not vested enough to lose much money. Did anyone here make a similar jump to another Firm, and in the end, was it a genius move, or did you come to regret it?

How to handle a toxic work environment? My team hired a new guy who has 0 experience and is younger than me, yet he was hired with a higher job title than me. I am fully licensed with my SIE/Series7/63/CFP (he has none of these). The firm makes these decisions but I am dumbfounded. I’m told if I want a higher job title I have to forgo overtime eligibility. Seems like a cop out answer.

Weaning baby now (he is four months). I have a big freezer stash and it’s in the deep freeze so it will be good until next December. Is the better strategy to constantly give baby some breastmilk every day until I run out (like 8-10 ounces a day or something, mixed with his formula) or is it better to just give formula and save the freezer stash for if/when he gets a cold or something, and then mix it in liberally only then)?
