Can anyone recommend a cyber insurance training program/designation?

Hadn’t noticed this sub before, and most of the threads are old so thought I’d ask a follow up - how has everyone been handling parenting with public accounting? I’ve got a toddler and my wife is an accountant (industry), and we only have a few immediate family in the country- but they have health concerns. Busy season was rough, things are looking better now as things return to normal. Still working crazy hours if you count the daycare duties on top of utilization targets.

Hi All, I need some advice on a job offer. I have been offered a role in HR in London with a leading media and advertising company. The role seems great and challenging and something I really would want to do and the comp offer seems great on paper (£100k base plus pension and health care) What I find strange is they don't have any bonus at this role level. They say it's a pretty senior level(I know a £100k base in UK is a pretty senior role) but I am really doubting why no bonus? Any thoughts?

Can anyone tell me if there are any MCO’s or mental health agencies that try to maintain a realistic case load size for their behavioral health case managers? I’m considering changing companies. I have considered companies such as Elevance Health. Molina Health, but don’t want to end up in the same situation as I’m currently experiencing. Thank you

My monthly take home, after maxing out 401k and roth is $8k/ month. No other debts.

Not factoring and additional annual $25k bonus + $16k equity to be conservative

My husband has severe mental health issues and can’t handle this and my best friend has cancer and is going through chemo and is super weak right now. I just got an offer at a series B startup and it was my 1st choice, however now I’m seeing that their maternity leave benefit really stinks (12 weeks paid at 67% of salary with a cap of $1000/week and I’d still have to pay health insurance). Being able to access an abortion at 30 changed my life, and I wouldn't have the amazing career, wonderful husband and beautiful 8mo girl that I have now if I had been forced to continue a pregnancy.

My dilemma… I am an injury adjuster at a carrier experiencing high inventory that’s barely manageable. A competitor offered a higher salary and manageable workload. BUT, I would like to get into underwriting. I applied for UW position w/ a different carrier and they’ve made an offer. It’s lower than my current salary and significantly lower than what I’d make by taking the first offer. Do I take the high salary and stay in claims or go for UW in hopes it will be best in long run?

I recently got a promotion in my company to work as a Junior CSR in Commercial Lines but I also got a job offer elsewhere to work in the entertainment insurance industry as an Associate. I got the RIBO license in January. The job offer pays more than my promotion but once I told my manager I had this offer she said they are willing to match that offer, however I wouldn’t see an increase in salary for a while. I don’t know what to do because both jobs sound really interesting. Any advice?
