Look into gaming chairs, they're supposed to be the best

Honestly Ive found theyre around $100 on Amazon and they have various reclining and lumbar support options that seem better than standard office chairs.

I got an 80 dollar chair off of Amazon at the beginning of the pandemic, it was pretty decent for the price, but then I upgraded to a 300 dollar chair a few months ago and it was way nicer, but I’m now thinking about a new one again. As long as you temper your expectations a cheap one with good reviews will be fine, but if you don’t think you’ll be happy with that longer term, I suggest just buying once and crying once- or else you’ll end up like me with way too many chairs. My girlfriend is happy with the original one I bought, but she is half my weight and a full foot shorter than me, so I’d also caution you against a cheap chair if you’re pretty large- smaller you have a lot more options.

I just want a decent chair that’s not extremely bulky.. I don’t want it to take too much room

Thoughts on the mesh desk chairs?

Wondering the same

Staples has decently priced office chairs. I bought a couple of Luxura chairs and they are not bulky and comfy. I don’t like mesh chairs. Bought one before and it’s pretty hard.

Do you like slide off sometimes? Lol

I got a $150 recliner so I basically work laying down.

Man...in the prime of the pandemic there were all sorts of deals on furniture for really cheap. I was able to pick up a herman miller Aeron for less than $200 brand new. They are usually around $1,500. Look around and you can probably still find some good deals.

The thing is I have my office set up but never got a fancy computer chair for home because they are sooooo bulky but the current chair I have is very uncomfortable so that’s why I’m looking now

Is anyone living on different floors with ~1 year old? Does it work, PROs, CONs? Our master bedroom is upstairs. There are two bedrooms downstairs so I always thought we’d use one of those rooms as our bedroom so we’re on the same floor with baby but it seems husband wants to stay upstairs. And he’s using one of the rooms downstairs as a home office. We bought this house so cannot move in the short term.
