Can anyone recommend contract management software?
We are currently using Excel and, well, I don't think I need to elaborate as to why that's not working.

Pick what you like - business will hate it regardless

LinkSquares does the full contract lifecycle from creation to managing executed contracts. I am bias since I work here, but truly believe we have a top tier product. Check out the CLM reviews at g2.com. Happy to chat further!

Thanks!

We’re going through a department wide CLM project. My top choice is DocuSign and Icertis is probably my second choice.

We use agiloft. Wasn't my first choice but it's functional though business doesn't love itn

I'll give it a look. Thanks.

has anyone used outlaw ? thinking of rolling it out

like

I'll take a look. Thanks for the suggestion.

We use Concord. Pretty easy to use.

like

We also use Concord. Seems like people either love it or hate it.

I would consider Docusign or Icertis or Sirion Labs. Depending what is your end goal between document tracking, document repository, buy-side/sell-side documents type, and metadata to be extracted? I hear you on the pain of excel based contract tracking.

I have over 12 years in B2B sales/sales management experience along with a graduate degree. I am wanting to shift gears and I am at a point where I can invest time in myself to learn through practical experience. The new industry I am wanting to pursue is real estate investment. I have read all the books but want some hands on experience on the property management side. How could I best leverage my skills for a role in this, and what should my expectations be for negotiation in compensation?

How are perceptions of post vendors companies created? Where do they stem from? This industry just gets so hard to navigate through sometimes. Would love some honest insight!

I have a third interview with a start up making their second legal hire. It seems like an exciting space but I’d be leaving a huge company and taking on risk if it works out. I am currently at a firm and received an in-house offer. Aside from main items like comp and big ticket benefits like PTO/health insurance/401k, what other items do I need to think about discussing/negotiating? For example, fees to keep bar licensure, professional association fees, CLEs, etc. I feel like there is so much on that end I currently take for granted being covered at my firm. Anything else I should consider?

I’m currently at a medium sized tech startup. I was interviewing for a role that would be a bump in pay and title at a multinational public F50 company. At first, the hiring manager and head of legal were very complementary about my experience. Almost too much so. After a week of interviews with the team (softball-esq), I was informed that if I wanted to join, they would bring me on at a lower title. I’m not sure about comp yet. But if comp is still an increase + experience at a public..

Does anyone have recommendations for classes or trainings that helped you gain greater expertise in reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, particularly sophisticated SaaS agreements? I came in-house with a biglaw litigation background and because of this feel lacking in competency compared to friends who came in house with transactional experience. Ditto to corporate governance. Would love some recommendations so that I can brush up in these areas and feel less like an imposter.
