Joining Amazon in February. Anyone know what the comp payment schedule is? I’ve read monthly in some places and bi-weekly in others. Will ask the recruiter after the long weekend but was hoping someone here might have intel
Hey everyone - I am 28 with 5YOE (2 in consulting 3 in industry) and am working towards a part time MBA at a T15 program. My current comp is 130k which I am quite happy with (having started at 52). I see posts here stating folks comp in consulting to be around 300-500k. How does one get to those numbers? Are you all in MBB or T2 firms and how did you get to that position? I was hoping to get to those numbers by 35 or 40, and was thinking of a plan to get there.
Who’s an account executive? It seems like this is an extremely popular and challenging role in sales. Let’s all discuss what we sell, what company we work for, our OTE and if we like our current employer and if we don’t like them what do you wish would change? Let’s specify if we are mid market, enterprise etc. so we can see how the comp compares. Are the goals they set for commission and bonus realistic? I’m an AE as well my title for some reason is taking forever to update.
Is anyone currently or previously worked for USAA as an AML Investigator? What is their salary compensation compared to other banks?

I'm a single mom struggling to pay the bills on a teacher salary. Will getting a second job take too much time from my classroom?
Do you ever feel guilty asking for money? I have an outside offer from a competing firm, but for some reason I feel bad coming to my current firm to ask for more compensation. How do you break this mindset?
I got a bonus from my old Boston based employer in January 2021, by which time I’d moved to NYC for business school. I’m moving back to Boston after school so did not declare permanent residency here in NYC (vote and driver licensed in MA). So my domicile is in MA even though my current residence is in NY. Do I have to pay NY taxes on this bonus?
Thanks for doing this! Last year it was announced we would see a market correction in salary vs. the other big 4. What we got was underwhelming to say the least. What was the rationale behind this?
As an experienced hire, will my raises be any lower if I came in at a relatively high salary? ACN/CD&O/SA with 4 YOE
I got an offer: 140K & no bonus for the Manager, Architect (Remote - Medium COL) in Audit (Not Consulting). Looks like that is the best they could do. Based on my research by going through the levels and glassdoor, I was expecting in 160K -180K Range. Do you think my research numbers are off? Is that offer reasonable? or lowball given the current market? Please suggest. Thank you. Deloitte KPMG
Guys, What is the main difference between a Lead and a Senior Solution Advisor's job responsibilities and also their compensation? How much hike can i expect if my current ctc is 10 Lacs approximately? The next level in the hierarchy is Manager, right? Department is Advisory - Forensics. YoE is 6 Years. Company Deloitte USI. Please help.
I was caught off guard at my compensation meeting by getting a raise to $100k but also getting a promotion. The raise was decent and it was the minimum I was expecting, but since I got promoted as well I thought the amount should have been higher. We offered a potential candidate $100k for my previous title. For future reference, how can I bring that up without sounding ungrateful and unappreciative? Thoughts?
Is it worth making the move from EY Tax SM3 to KPMG managing director? Is this a lateral move? What salary should I expect (MCOL)?
What salary should one expect for IT audit Senior1 (4 years of Exp) in Big 4(both global and India practice)??
Do most VC’s operate like a start up? Just got an offer and they don’t even have a benefits sheet for me to look at (like a mobile stipend, gym stipend, etc.). Literally just base comp, carry, PTO. And haven’t met a single person from HR. Is this normal or a bad sign?
I received a verbal offer from Goldman Sachs and after negotiating the salary I have yet to hear back. Is that normal? It’s been almost two weeks since verbal offer. Or is it safe to assume I’ve been ghosted by the recruiter?
Going to be ~9000 miles short of executive platinum on American after planned trips this year. Is there anyway to make the difference up other than a mileage run?
Has anyone taken time off work because of their mental health? Did it help? Feel like I am at a breaking point but worried if I do it once I’ll end up doing it for the rest of my career
What level should a McKinsey Associate Partner level expect at Microsoft upon exit? Any examples of prior successful exits
Robinhood or vanguard for a personal investment account? 23, have ~15k in savings, ~20k in 401k, ~5k in Roth IRA, and currently ~12k in robinhood. Want to put more in investments but have heard vanguard is better for someone like me?
Does anyone know of anywhere still hiring strategists or creative strategists? Or Content writers?
New staff here. Senior just chucked a pencil against the wall at the client site today in rage, yelling "what the hell man!" because I forgot to follow up with the client about something.
As slow as airport SBux are, nothing can beat the ORD T2 post-security SBux for sheer inefficiency. Even slower than the T1 one.
Hey fam. Appreciate your inputs on this: I used to be a software developer and currently work as a tech risk consultant (CISA, CRISC certified). Have completed a couple of cyber courses but do not have prior cyber experience. Most cyber sec job postings require prior experience in cloud, aws, devops etc. Applied to a couple of roles but no avail. A) Can I start a career in cyber security without prior experience? B) Will CISSP or relevant cyber certifications help?
Any other teachers out there have issues with mold in their window-less classrooms? If we don’t have proper ventilation to prevent mold from growing on walls, how do they expect us to feel comfortable/safe in a potentially Covid exposed room?
Currently at 2.5 yoe. Is it worth it to apply for strategy associate/analyst positions or business analyst positions, etc? Hoping to find a high growth position that pays well
I constantly get talked down in this new team, I hate everything about this project and I can’t take it anymore. I am a single mom and I am very depressed out of this situation. I am about to quit right now, I am all in tears and don’t know what to do. I always try my best and feel like nothing is good enough. I can’t have insurance for my baby, what should I do 😭😭
Hi all! Would anyone know how safe Park Hill is? I'm specifically looking at MLK Jr. Blvd, about 5~10 blocks east of Colorado Blvd, near the City of Axum Park. I was told to steer away from Five Points, but I couldn't find much about Park Hill online. Ideally, I'd like to commute into downtown via public transit 1-2 times a week, so any insights into Denver buses would also be greatly appreciated!
Diversity & Inclusiveness is hollow talk. If you are an Indian, Chinese or Black your chances of being a PP are pretty limited- ED is more feasible. Agree?
Need 8k more EQM's to hit AA EP before year end. I'm based out of LA area. Any recommendations for mileage runs?
