Can anyone share success stories of not receiving an MBB MBA internship offer but then receiving offer in Full time? Any tips on what you did differently?

My younger brother has the opportunity to do Software Engineering at FAANG and consulting at MBB as a fresh grad. I told him to do SWE, but I’m afraid I’m giving him biased advise cause I’m jaded in this industry. If you were me, what would you advise him?

I would like to transfer my career to Healthcare Data Analytics. I’m gaining my data analytics certification by the ending of November. I’ve also worked and still currently working for great healthcare company’s. I also have lots of great healthcare data experience. My only concern is no degree. What can I say to recruiters that will WOW them or replace the fact I have no degree because that’s what most of these company’s require.

Everyone thinks I’m knowledgeable with Excel. But all I started doing was wondering if I can automate a process, and then using Google to find the formula. But now when people come to me for Excel help, they don’t know that I just google it for them.
