Daily subsistence aka food when traveling = $175. Must provide itemized receipts, cannot claim alcohol or cigarettes etc. “Entertaining” aka meals with potential investors or clients are by category and seniority. Drinks $70/pp, dinner $150pp, lunch $115pp, breakfast $65pp. Dinner allowance if working past 830 is $35. Hotels vary by city but general max is $440/ night. NYC / LA / SFO are higher
I think only the EA’s and finance have read the entire thing. Everyone else just knows the bits they use / apply to them most frequently and then asks if they have questions.
Hmm. When traveling, personal meals up to $100 a day. Hotels max $400/night. Flights over 4 hours or red eyes then business class okay. Cell phone up to $75/month, health and wellness $125/month, personal education stipend (not sure how much but people rarely use this, it’s like a book expense), $35 for a working meal past 8pm, free Uber if you stay at office past 8 or come before 8am,
I don’t think we have a cap for entertaining clients. It’s always “think like an owner”. I organize a ton of private dinner events for my team that corporate has to approve, but i keep it around $200-$300 a person and I’ve never gotten pushback.
But the higher up the executive, the more “flexibility” with travel expense caps they get.
What? 3 sentences? What can possibly be included in those sentences without being vague?
