Bahahaha
Im coming in at like exactly 2200 this year - usually I wake up at 8am, work 9am -1pm, take hour to workout and eat, then 2-6pm, and then 8-10pm. I come in at like 7-9 hours per day this way. Then I bill like 2-4 hours over the weekend. Then, I have a few m&a deals where I bill 12-13 hours a day, and like 8 hours each weekend day. Im in ec/vc/m&a. ok with this life. Spouse tolerates it since Im making bank. Have 2 small kids.
This is almost exactly my schedule and I get about 50+ hours a week out of it. Hit about 2100 with vacation time in
I typically start working at 7am (if working from home) or 8am (the occasional in the office day) and eat lunch while working. I work until 6/7 depending on the day and then eat dinner with my husband and log back on after dinner for whatever time is needed based on what I am working on. I usually work 2-3 hours each on Saturday and Sunday morning. I work really hard to stay focused and efficient during the workday (example, I try to prepare lunch while on a call if possible). I don’t really exercise (occasional weekend spin class and long walks) and I don’t have kids.
I appreciate the thoughts. My hours were higher when I was more junior (2400 to 2500) but it is harder to rack up those kinds of hours as I have gotten more senior based on the kind of work I do (litigation).
Very similar to SA1. I log on at 6:30am, workout/shower quickly, eat lunch while working, and usually work until 9 or 10pm. Married but no kids yet. Sanity less than stellar during busy periods but typically okay. Don’t think this is sustainable for me long term.
2200 true billable + 100 pro bono + 100 biz dev. Had a couple lighter months (160-180ish), but pretty much it!
