My second, joking, post aside, it depends on the age of the kids. When my oldest is 7-8, I plan to introduce him to the Redwall books. That was one of the foundational series of my childhood and I hope it will be for him and the other kiddos as well. Mine are toddlers and babies now, so I've got a few years till then. I was a precocious reader growing up and was reading way more advanced books than my age, so my sense of age appropriate books is admittedly pretty skewed. For older kids, off the top of my head the books I look forward to introducing are Redwall, the Dark is Rising sequence, LOTR, pretty much anything by Lloyd Alexander and CS Lewis, Harry Potter, and dozens and dozens more books.

The Economist - puts her right to sleep

Aesop's fables, 101 Arabian nights (kids version only), Disney-fied Grimm fairy tales, folktales from around the world are a few good places to start.

The PMBOK of course.

Many of the Pete the Cat books have great morals: kindness, sharing, not worrying, love your mama :)

Got an email “reminder” that weekly lesson plans are due Monday morning. I’m tired. I want to reply “no” because I don’t have time to make detailed lesson plans on their template...for lessons that I won’t follow...for a curriculum they haven’t given me yet....But I should probably just ignore it until I’m less tired so I don’t let my mouth get me in trouble. Do y’all turn in lesson plans?

Has this happened to anyone else? I used to eat a lot of unhealthy, processed foods a few months ago. I transformed my ways and have eaten quite healthy since. Today I ate some cookies and chips after a long time, and I feel like shit. Stomach upset, heavy chest and just really lethargic. I know the lesson is to not eat unhealthy, but I didn’t think it would wreck my body like this
