Isn't that mostly for fresh grads? Not saying it's not a great opportunity, that's just my impression
^ former intern for APMM and my summer roommate are with the APMM Program now. It’s mostly for upcoming fresh grads but there are a couple of experienced hires they take. An example would be I was introduced to this dude who was a year in a half in with BCG and took the move. However, he was placed with new grads because it’s a rotational program but he doesn’t regret it even though he was almost 24 and everyone else were mostly 21.
Also it’s a rotational program so you get to choose on Year 2 if you’d prefer to live internationally and if you love it they’ll take care of your visa paper work (i.e roommate was in London for 6 months and on month 4 he decided he wanted to stay at London and google saw a need in London that could use him and took care of all his application/paperwork). He had to take a significant pay cut though since most countries don’t pay as much
Interviewed for this right at the 2 year mark after UG. Most consultants who attempted to sell it mostly talked up less travel, work life balance and the campus life. I get the sense that it’s a good opportunity if you’ve been in consulting for less than 2 years. The work doesn’t seem to be more challenging - but that could just be the APMM that I spoke with during interviews. Base compensation was alright but likely not more than what you’re making now - them stock options though 👌

Do they only consider MBB consultants for experienced hires? Current 2nd yr BTA at Deloitte and have been applying to a few APM programs w/no luck
