Hi , i have offer for business analyst from DXC technology in insurance domain for 17 lakhs pa with 6 years of insurance experience . is this offer acceptable ? can i ask for more ? what is the market average salary ?
I was happy with my work until April when my supervisor asked me to take over the supervisory responsibilities. Out of empathy, I decided to help my supervisor and took responsibility and now I regret for that. I begged to my managers for delegating the tasks but their tone changed. Now, I want to resign by showing a better offer but I want to be retained if they initiate on-site, match salary and take back the recently assigned responsibilities. What are the chances for fulfilling my demands?

Question: I was thinking asking for a sign on bonus instead of negotiating the salary. Should I negotiate both?
I'm worried about moving to this company because the pay is alot and work life balance may suffer because more is expected ( even though they assured me work life balance is important there)

Hi!! What is the average salary for a Tech Sourcer in the San Francisco Bay Area? I have over 3 years of experience as a full-cycle recruiter, but not specifically sourcing/recruiting for tech positions. Interviewing w/ a tech start-up.
Expecting an offer, which I’m excited for but after the interview I realized that this division is 98% start up. The title is Sales Associate however the responsibilities beyond selling are: build the sales program; responsibility for all admin; education of staff including developing and conducting training regionally; creating marketing and promotion campaigns; reporting and measurement of staff performance involved in sales. No direct reports. What is an appropriate title and salary range?
Deloitte is there a bonus for who posts the most stupid questions on FB? I feel it’s a race between you guys.
I’m about to enter my 2nd year as an Operations Data Analyst at a huge investment bank. I began with $52k and $5k bonus. I’d like to ask for a raise but unsure how much, is too much. I see online that the average pay is around $60-63k (maybe more?). Looking for advice as to how much I should ask for.
After salary negotiation how long oracle generally take to release offer letter or send mails for further communication?

I came to fertility clinic for my first IUI and they told me the sperm dropped down motility from 70 million to 0.500 after defrosting. Heart breaking. Waiting for second vial to defrost and can’t decide if it’s still worth it to go ahead and do it. Not wasting money as met my deductible already and it will be free...
This is Kindbody New York, not recommended they already messed up the IUI process by mistaking my folliciles with a cyst. They almost made me miss ovulation window.

Graduated 2019, admitted late 2019, been practicing almost three years. First two in LT lit, then almost a year in transactional. Making $70k now working from 9:30-7:00.. almost non- stop. No time for lunch type of work dynamic. Daily tasks: Attend 1-2 closings and 1-2 signing contract with client . I don’t mind the work, just $70k is hard to sustained a living, any ideas on how I can transition to a better paying transactional practice area? 😐

Follow up re KPMG layoffs.
They said this will be it for a RIF. (I hope so but don’t trust them.) 20 opted in, 35 moved to another position in the Firm and 15 were being let go. That makes 70 total when they told us only 60 people would be impacted.

I was offered an Assistant GC position inhouse at a prestigious company in my field but the role is primarily a contract review one (as part of a contract review team). The job seems stable, benefits good, hours good, and pay is what I expected for NYC in-house market. I’m worried about long term growth though. Are contract positions dead-ends or can I eventually lateral to Associate GC position that covers more ground? Help!
I joined a firm as GC and CCO at the end of last year. I have since learned our upper management are slimeballs. I normally don’t judge clients but these are dishonest people. I want to head out, and have clients that I could take as my own practice but what’s the move here?
Has anyone ever work at Morgan Stanley New York as in-house? Got approached by their HR and wondering what life it is there (hours-wise) I’ve been working with their in-house team on a deal and looks like they are crazy busy. My new job occasionally requires me to review vendor agreements. I don’t have any background in this area and am trying to get up to speed. My department doesn’t have a document management system, so it’s tough to find old agreements as precedent. Any recommendations for books or other sources - or any words of wisdom? Thanks!
How do you use outside counsel? So far, I’ve only had them answer discrete subject matter questions, but there’s too much on my plate now and I’ve gotten the green light to send some to OC. I’m just not sure how to use them. I can’t quite use them like I’d use an associate in a law firm, or can I? I have a ton of tiny projects I’d love to send out, while still retaining general oversight of groups.

Does anyone happen to have a general idea of how much an assistant Vice President at Financial Services / Private Equity / Hedge Fund may make? Company is at least 500 ppl and the associate would be and 8th year with 6ish years in big law and a year ish in house. Thanks!
Just gave notice and current company said they will match the offer. Already accepted the other offer, however, should I reach out to the new company recruiter and see if they will increase the offer? As I wouldn’t leave my current company for the same money as the new offer.
In tech trans at a big firm, but my work is almost all M&A deal support. I read, review, and mark up countless agreements, but don’t get to draft any. Am I still in a relatively good position for going in-house at a tech company, or are in-house tech jobs reserved for people doing tech trans at the Cali firms (Fenwick, Cooley, etc.)? I’m developing IP-related skills, just not drafting...
I have an offer that’s exploding end of the week. All in, it’s $375k annual TC and I have five years of experience. The money is obviously amazing and I know I’m lucky to receive this good of an offer. This is not a 9-5 and I’m currently at a firm where I don’t have a ton of complaints but am generally tired of billables/tough clients. Should I take it? Team seems great. Having a really tough time. Colleagues think I should hang tight for a better role at a private co. I really value wlb most.
Started an in-house job after leaving a firm. I love it. Looking back on my old job, I now realize how gaslighted and manipulated I was. People at the new job treat me with such respect, it feels amazing (also sad that my bar is now so low).
As a result, I'm super motivated to do a good job and deliver, but this is a BIG job, one where I can't come close to clearing my plate every week. I'm working 12 hour days to be as responsive as I can, but I know that's a recipe for burnout. Advice?
We are a data/software provider. My business folks get lots of requests from customers to fill out annual security/due-diligence assessments. I don’t have an issue with them generally, but many of them now include “attestations of compliance”, and will throw in a link to their Vendor Code of Conduct.
We don’t agree in our contracts that we will comply with their Codes (or even that we will answer these assessments in the first place) - but assuming that the business does “attest” to (Cont)
