Can anyone tell me about the healthcare informatics and skills one should have if they want persue a courer in it ?

Data analytics, user experience, project management, and minitab, tableau or SQL not required but would be beneficial.

Is it a lucrative field and how easy is it to secure a role ?!

I have a master’s in health informatics with data analyst track. I am currently applying and not having a lot of luck. I graduated this past December.

Do you need a degree to pursue this? Or is a professional certification enough?

I currently received an offer for an informatics role. I do not have any experience or a certification in this specialty. However, I’ve been a nurse for 10 years and a nurse manager for 4 years. I’ve worked on projects and process improvements throughout my career with various departments.

I really wouldn't recommend telling a prospective new employer that you quit impulsively. You want to look like someone who think things through and acts decisively but not irrationally and saying you rage quit your job undermines that image.
