It’s in the name: transaction strategy and execution. Right now I’m leading an integration as well as providing but-side Ops due diligence support for a PE firm. We cover core industries and target Fortune 500, mid market, and PE backed clients. However, we’re branching out.

It greatly depends. Many do PMO - type work supporting transactions, but that isn’t nearly comprehensive.
I’ve seen everything from cost-takeout to revenue growth work, all under the framework of M&A. I would say stand-alone costing, operating model, and PMO are main, common work streams but there is a very wide net.

Clients we regularly interact with vary from function leads (typically VP and director level) up to the CEO/board on some deals. Often Corp Dev hires us, but in some cases it’s the CFO or COO.
