I'm in the middle of career crisis. I've joined Federal bank from campus placement. I'm a probationary officer and the salary is also decent. But even after 7months for working here I'm confused if this is the job for me.

I've had B4, industry accounting and wealth management jobs and there's always been something I was not satisfied with, leading me to find something else. I've been in my current role (industry) for about a year and am already bored and looking at opportunities. Is it possible to find a job that brings you satisfaction at all levels (pay, hours, the work itself, etc.), or do you have to settle at one point?

Got a healthcare hedge fund analyst offer with 150K base and up to 250K bonus. With comp increase potential but no clear path to be promoted to portfolio manager given the fund size. I have 6 YOE in consulting and a PhD in life sciences. Lifestyle is not much better than consulting. The hiring manager tried to convince me with “long-term upside” but of course cannot commit to anything given the fund is new. Thinking I should turn it down but wonder how others think

Hey Everyone, I'm a Mechanical Engineer that has not worked in the Engineering field since being in Canada. My degree is from a fully accredited institution but I have sent numerous amounts of applications and no company wants to take the chance. How can you stay professional and avoid coming across as nervous while interviewing someone who scares or intimidates you?

Recently, i was "promoted" or, I should say, my title was changed to the next ring up the ladder. As a part of this, I went from reporting to Senior Management, to Junior Management. The Jr. Manager has good intentions, but, is not helpful. I've worked at the company longer, have accomplished more across multiple lines of business and have a much stronger internal network. Am I overreacting thinking this is a major slight that will ultimately slow down my growth within the company?

I am an IT manager at a small manufacturing company that is in the commercial aerospace and DOD manufacturing space. I manage everything IT and have one other person and an intern currently for around 250 employees. I have been there for just 15 years and it’s stressful. I don’t feel like I am paid enough as now I have NIST 800-171 and CMMC to deal with as well. I am paid with bonus at $120k a year. I have started looking elsewhere because I am just not happy anymore and underpaid for what I do.

Currently 2YOE in tech consulting with 1 promo, just moved to product at late stage startup. 750 GMAT, 3.75 GPA, ORM, 1st gen.
