I recently got a night shift project (2 days ago) that requires me to work from 10:30pm till 7:30am
I'm not comfortable with these timings and I'm thinking to ask my manager to put me on Bench (Due to medical reasons that involve mental health)
Is it a nice idea to say a firm No to a new project I'm hardlocked into, due to night shifts?
KPMG I cleared all the rounds of my interview with KPMG and was asked to provide necessary documents and fill a CAF form a week back and had a HR discussion too. I have requested for about 3Lakhs additional fixed pay since my current CTC has increased and HR said she will get back on this. It's been a week and haven't heard back on the offer letter. How long do you think I should wait. Please wait.

I suggest not to ask rolloff now as you will be getting promotion in 3-6 month. Once you got promoted, you can ask or search for new job outside.
I have an offer as a fresher in Infosys for 6.25 la and talked about this to my manager, but they said they can't give this much hike nor they can guarantee a promotion. Everyone suggested not to join infy as a fresher as my experience would go in vain but I don't know what to do next. I'm in a toxic environment in this support project. Okay I'll start asking for a roll off but I am not sure if they'll give me a roll off or not. They have made a dependency on me, and there are access issues going on here... I really feel stuck here and the managers are really manipulative amd toxic... I'm sure they'll degrade my performance in front of others if I be stubborn on roll off
I have approx 10yrs in Accenture and am sad to see a toxic environment in your case. If you are working outside working hours, please talk to your manager and set expectations. It's not right for anyone to force you to work extra hours unless you have been charging time for the same.
Firstly draft a formal email stating you are overloaded and stressed out and working outside working hours. If the manager doesn't improve the situation the same email can be used to go to HR in future. But first give a chance to your management team. Regarding roll off, you need to reduce your dependency by cross training other resources. If business is impacted, then no manager would take the risk.
With techleap program you don't need to wait 2yrs. Freshers get promoted faster 1 or 1.5yrs. Odd to see Infy paying 6+ and still giving fresher designation. You should consider joining Infy.
