You can try to book your seat a week in advance maybe....

New staff cant LTR so that means your not in office enough to maintain an LTR so grow a pair.

I work in the office once a month and get a window seat every time

Why don’t u friend ur EA. I have a LTR and I don’t meet the quals. Am I’m a senior. So I guess we would be fitting ahahabahah

EY 11 - OP is talking about the EA in their office. You can pause your offended status for now.

like

I'm in the office 50 weeks per year and can't reserve more than a week in advance. The Reserve guy said that they can't do LTR just because you work from the office (aside from CBS, obviously).

Hey I’m on your side, OP. But it should be fairly easy to request a LTR; ask the office admins and get approval from partner. We had a struggle to get ours but partner pushed hard

Im in CBS and for sure know its possible for you guys to score that. They do reports to see % onsite and if you qualify you get it. If not partner advocates and you get it.

I thought manager and above have their own room?

Lol this guy. Learn to be more efficient in making your reservations. Window seat? You can have it. I just want my dual monitors.

EY 10 she is very arrogant and thinks she owns the floor

OP, why did you assume EY 10 is female?

Serious question - is there a reverse FIRE strategy? I like the idea of saving and retiring early, but the one hiccup I see (and sorry if this is grim) is if you die earlier than expected. I’d be worried that I would minimize lifestyle and fun for retirement at 50 but I’d die at 49. How about a way to work 9 months out of the year and retire/travel/relax for 3 months? This way you guaranteed your dreams/etc. are fulfilled
