As a consultant, you’re used to scheduling calls, and then everyone shows up at the same time and chats. However, realtors just cold call each other as the day progresses because that’s the quickest way to get things done with that volume of communication. And that one call that your used to may be broken up into five separate calls over the course of an hour. It’s full of “can’t talk let me call you back” and “give me ten mins to contact my client for approval” etc etc
Asking to listen in may slow things down so much that you miss every opportunity you’re looking for
The only time I can really foresee this being a good idea is if you’re buying new and there’s a scheduled appointment to talk to the builder
Good point. These agents are shady and sneaky as hell but would always tell you that “they only work in the best interest of their client”.

Hey are you the same guy who was wanting to be part of the negotiation process? I think the best play here is for you to find a realtor that you trust. If your realtor is giving you sketch vibes, maybe they are the wrong realtor for you
I don’t think that was me but understand why people think agents only care about closing the deal vs best interest in mind.
Sure, you can ask. Your agent has a fiduciary obligation to you, so nothing the other agent says to yours should be private between them.
