I’m at my personal savings goal but still working on hitting my joint savings goals with my husband. The goals are real estate fund, robust emergency fund (1 yr of expenses), and eventually, our baby fund. I don’t know that I want to shift my savings contributions towards our joint goals or student and auto loan I have (low interest rates). What would be another option for wisely using the spare change? I’m looking at at least 1000/month. Any informational videos are appreciated!

About to post a job w/ HC software co (~550 employees). Need someone who can manage relationships w/ cons/analyst firms that advise health plans on pop health software / serve as SI's, & relationships with Big Tech (MSFT, Oracle, etc). Thinking this could be a good lower stress role for Big 5 manager who wants to get off the rat race. Goal would be to give this person an opportunity to grow into more senior roles as knowledge of pop health increases. Thoughts / suggestions appreciated.

Hello! SLP here. Does anyone else work in a “per session” pay structure? Basically, I’m only paid for productive time with clients that pay accounts for the charting required for the session. How should meetings be factored into pay and responsibilities outside of my clinical role? My boss has been asking me to do many things outside of my job description and I’m only paid for productive time.

Let’s talk about the social media posts of women complaining about how they want to “touch “ people they want to “hug” people they miss “people “

My response to that is : guess what whiny lady . Try saying that to those families who have lost loved ones and couldn’t even be with them at the time of their deaths ! Don’t you think they were saying the same ???

I recently started a job this past November as a Clinical Informatics Supervisor at a fairly large healthcare organization. The women working under me at the healthcare organization are twice my age. I can honestly say from day one I felt excluded. I experienced multiple occasions of insubordination and quite honestly, bullying. Now I’m being pushed out of my position, not fired. Now they have me sitting and doing nothing all day. I don’t know what to do.

I was recently (in April) fired from a good nursing position that I was at for 5 years. I reached out to my old ADON to get some information on where we had our vaccinations from and she told me that I should come back and the administrator that I had issues with is gone. Is this something I should even consider? I miss my patients and some of my coworkers and the pay is better, but I don't feel like I would really be welcome to come back.

I’m considering a job that offers HRA (health reimbursement arrangement) instead of insurance. It would pay for my own insurance premiums, copays and any out of pocket expenses. I haven’t heard of HRA’s before. Is this a red flag or a good idea?
