Can I leave after 2 days of joining? The role is not suitable for me.

Hey all. I’m leaving Citi to go to Goldman Sachs. VP investment banking. Making around $100k now in Tampa. What are some recommendations for what I should be looking for in the new role in NYC? Never lived anywhere other than Tampa so kinda going in blind here. Figure I could at least get $175k.

Thinking about applying to FDD at other big 4. Kinda want to put in the app now given everywhere seems to be hiring but also seems like I should wait til end of May to get the senior title on there. Thoughts?

Had a final round on Friday. Recruiting was off then for a wellness day. I thought the interview went well. The manager I last interviewed with said they’d discuss amongst themselves and I should hear back early this week. How long does it usually take for them to make a decision? I know it’s the week of Christmas and only Monday, but this would’ve been an awesome Christmas gift since I really want the role!
