You are not going to get a job as an investment professional at a hedge fund with cdd t2 experience. PE, yes it’s possible. Public markets is a different beast and consulting skills are not nearly as transferable for these roles

Hello everyone! I am a Judicial Law Clerk, which I have been for a little over two years now. However, I’m planning on moving into the AML/Compliance realm. I have a background in finance, having been a Finance Disbursing Officer in the Army for 6 years with one deployment in that role. Additionally, I am currently a JAG attorney and studying for my CAMS, hoping to take that exam in the next month or two. Any advice or referrals for anyone I can talk to learn more about the field? Thanks! :)

Where do people from Accenture Strategy (not Accenture Management Consulting) tend to go? Is it possible to have similar opportunities as MBB firms or do you have to work harder to get MBB-type opportunities?

I've just recently been hired as an assistant manager at a Canadian outlet store. It's a small company in comparison to others, but there are over 10 locations spanning western Canada and NW united states. I'm curious as to what others in a similar position are getting as salary. I was offered $42k plus bonuses at the interview, but when called back I was offered $44.5k plus bonuses. I already accepted. Did I leave money on the table here?

I work in DDV and in addition to PMO, my work involves organising workshops & working with leaders to strategize direction of the company, key initiatives to focus on and organize priorities around that. None of my clients are really interested, we want strategic focus"
