NATO's purpose is outdated and free trade isn't as economically advantageous as it may seem when it first meets the eye (anyone who has taken at least an intro to trade econ course can vouch). Seriously what's so scary about what you said? Disrupting the status quo is the only way for progress to be made (women's suffrage, civil rights, LGBTQ rights).

I also hope people think hard about this election and think for themselves, as opposed to being sheep to the media. When you separate fact from fiction, the choice is very clear who is better. What it comes down to, as most things, is a matter of opinion but I find it disturbing there are any people supporting Hill. As for NATO, the numbers actually show that we (the US) do in fact contribute more than any other country in the agreement- how is that fair? Why is putting Americans first, a bad thing? I don't get it
It's not necessarily Trump I support, but I am mostly a Republican (a rare breed in New York). It is choosing the known vs the unknown. The democrats can choose to close their eyes, but Obama did a number on this country (I can go into details on this, but I won't). So...four more years of this? No thank you.
I'm NOT a trump supporter. But tell me where/when he said he was anti black, anti LGBTQ, or anti women? He wants to deport illegals. He wants to not let untold #'s of Syrian refugees into America (seems like a good idea re:Germany, France), and he is anti wanton abortion.

I believe this entire thread is based on people's opinions. Did I miss something? Politics are all about opinions. You can use facts to back up your opinions, but at the end of the day the way you look at things are your opinion. Same things with laws. #imdonewithfishbowlpolitics.

I have no idea what "Obama did a number on this country" means? That sounds like rhetorical bullshit. Withdrawal from NAFTA would cause a recession. NATO is why we won the Cold War and there hasn't been nuclear war.
I'm referring to his foreign policies and Obamacare to name a couple. However, I don't really feel like having a political debate on fishbowl or anywhere else for that matter. It's a good thing we live in a democracy. You're entitled to your opinion and I am entitled to mine. Let's just leave it at that.

I think Hillary clearly poses a larger threat but as mentioned its a difference of opinion. We cant afford another 4 - 8 years allowing ISIS to run rampant and other radical groups (BLM)

I'm pretty moderate but trump would clearly be a horrible president. Banning all Muslims? Also the war Heros family? Build a wall? Who will pay /they dig tunnels anyway / what is this ancient China? Encouraging supporters to hurt others. Speakers at the DNC give a pretty well thought out attack on anything "trump" and his response - it would feel good to hit them.
