Hi, I am traveling to India - Bangalore from US due to family emergency - I got news from my family that my father passed away. I am on H1B from October 2020, and I have not yet got my Visa stamped in my passport. I am not taking my wife with me since she too requires stamping to get back to US. Please any kind of information relating to expedited/emergency visa stamping process in India, drop it here in the comments. Thanks.

Hi all, planning out credit journey, and wondering which credit cards have given you the most frequent and generous credit limit increases? I pay card in full every month. For me, Amex has been highly consistent with three increase over the past year without my having to request. Discover has kept pace, but I’ve had to manually request my CLIs. Citi too.

how many of you have a significant other who had to chase you in the beginning and they ended up being your person in the end? tell me stories!

I don’t know why but nowadays it’s almost impossible to see people chasing happiness. People chase nonsense other people said to chase. Not me though!

Just started using a short term rental management company to manage my family’s vacation home for the first time. Received my first ledger, and there’s a 5% credit card processing fee for all bookings (all were booked through Airbnb) that I wasn’t expecting. When I asked about the fee, they said that’s what Airbnb charges them. But when I googled it, I didn’t see anything about credit card processing fees charged to owners. Anyone have experience with these types of fees on a short term rental?

Seeking feedback from experienced fishes. I'm at a crossroads. I landed on a pretty solid team after switching from my first gig in public and have been approached by another firm offering a meaningful increase in pay for what sounds like the same role. Referral came from a few friends that work there. I would not be working in their team (diff. serv. line) but they say the office overall is pretty good. My question is, at this stage in my career in public what is better to chase pay or team?

Hello everyone, I am a Deloitte auditor and on a H-1b visa. My long term goal is to eventually go back to my home country. Should I still invest in Deloitte 401-k? I just want to know what the deductions are if and when I decide to go home and take the money. I don’t want to miss out on the match that Deloitte does but assessing if it’s worth it and if I will lose much of my money in taxes. Also I currently invest at home (fixed deposits) and get 6% returns. Thanks for any inputs in advance
