Marsh & McLennan I am moving 2 hours from my office. My manager says i have to come 2 days to office. When i come to the office its only me and couple of other people. No one seems to care about coming to office. When i asked manager if i can work remote i was told that its for my career development. Can you guys tell in Canada which companies are offering remote opportunities?

Where you log in matters. They will see that you are not in the US and you will get denied. Have someone log in for you and fill the form out each week until you're back.
My understanding is yes, but I'm not sure if I would personally risk it. Seems much easier just getting a friend to spend the 5 minutes each week doing it on your behalf, and then kicking them a nice meal when you get back.
I tried doing that from Canada and was told no. You better call with US IP address.
No, my argument was I’m stuck across border but am looking for jobs and can be there to start work within a day...
Easy fix for IP problem. Get a VPN
I like to use Private Internet Address. They have many US servers. Just make sure to connect to one of them before you log into the site.
I mean technically yea? Don’t know if IP address would trigger any problems.

I don't think it's an issue. As long as you're not lying on any of your certifications.
And as long as you have contributed to the unemployment insurance
No because you have to claim you’re searching for at least three jobs a week and submit proof online. I think where you log in from matters.
But can’t I still search while overseas?
