Can I technically be "based" in one city but live in another? Why does it matter where my "home office" is? I alt-travel to see my friends in another city every weekend and I'd rather just live there.

@Anyone who travels weekly: Have you ever not had an apartment or house (home base) near home office and lived off alt travel, hotels, stay with friends, etc.?

If you go to a wedding and the reception is three hours after the ceremony and in a different location, is it weird to wear a different dress to each? The reception is at the hotel we’re staying at so it would be super easy to change in between. The ceremony is also middle of day July in California so I could see wearing a short dress for that but then long dress for indoor reception later that night. Thoughts?
