Can I use another firm's SPG corporate code for a better rate? Has anyone here ever gotten reprimanded for that?

And when I called SPG they said the account maintenance wasn’t ready so to call back

Almost 4 weeks in and my status is still wrong. It was correct for the first ~1 day and then bumped down a level. Shouldn’t be hard as all my nights last year were SPG. This is ridiculous.

What credit card to you recommend pairing well with chase sapphire preferred for maximizing redemption? Pretty new to points and def don’t know a lot! I’m considering one of the Marriott cards bc we love Marriott or an Amex one! Any ideas appreciated 🤗 TIA!!

Hi everyone! Can anyone tell me what you make as a typical banquet/events manager for salary or per hour? I’ve worked for Marriott/Bonvoy at the Ritz and for the Curio Collection with Hilton as a bartender/server/banquets captain. Now I’m working for a privately owned hotel and as a manager role in Banquets/Events. Because of pandemic times, what is everyone else making?

SPG app updated for me but not combination

What is the most amount of times you have Applied to one specific company? It could be different job titles and different states but how many times have you applied to the same company? Sodexo , levy, compass group, Hyatt Hilton Marriott have Applied to all those 30 or 40 times over the past three years. Talk about insanity. I stopped applying six months ago I’m no longer wasting my time with people like this!

The new SPG app is not intuitive at all, very hard to navigate i find.

I have been experiencing major burnout and have been struggling to manage work tasks with my ADHD. I'm in a position that has a lot of interruptions and requires my leadership input on various things leading me to feel constantly overwhelmed. Should I bring this up with HR or my manager? Should I ask to move to a position that might be better for me? Or will this work against me and make me seem like a bad employee?
