Can I use iTravel to book a personal rental car for myself (assuming that I don't expense the car cost to EY)? I don't own a car and I'm under 25 and I want to take advantage of EY negotiated rates.

Answer is no, but you can probably use the corporate code directly on the rental agency's site. There's actually a process for this that you can ask about on the Yammer travel group page.

Theoretically the policy answer is no. But... yes you can.

What EY3 said. In my experience trying to use whatever corporate code never gets close to how cheap the rates are through GBT.

You CAN use the EY discounted rates ONLY on rental cars. But you should book directly with the rental agency, not iTravel. Specifically says so in the FAQs

You can't because to book you need to enter an engagement code

Yeah... go to travel FAQs and you'll find all the discount codes. I personally recommend National.

I find Hertz more reliable. It's ALWAYS the negotiated firm rate, which is much cheaper than any other combination of discounts

Engagement codes in GBT don't actually go anywhere. Frequent traveler, almost none of my travel is booked on the right code in GBT (not open by the time I need to be on the road).

Been thinking about buying this reasonable dividend growth fund from vanguard - I like the approach and the manager. The ER is 0.26%. I did the quick math vs my Schwab S&P500 index at .02% and it’s a staggering amount of expense over 20 years and 500K investment. How do people justify paying 1% etc for their investments when you can own S&P 500 for almost nothing.
